I often hear people refer to a declutteirng experience as life changing, and a wardrobe edit is no exception. Our clothes define our style, and they’re a snapshot of where we are at in our lives. They hold special memories, and they hold the promise of up coming occasions.
And this is why wardrobes need an organised system, and for order to be maintained. Here’s a few key elements to keep in mind when reorganising your wardrobe:

There are many systems that can help organise clothes within a wardrobe – for example by colour, style, or occasion. It is a personal choice, but I first recommend to clients when editing their wardrobe to group their items as follows:
I treated myself recently to a major wardrobe declutter, which saw me get rid of about 50% of my clothes. My only wish is that I did it sooner! It’s much easier to choose my outfit for the next day, and it’s much easier to put clothes away immediately (rather than on the end of the bed!). New clothes that I purchase is now much more of a deliberate choice, which in turn saves me money. And the best bit - I feel better about having less clutter.
